If you need any more proof that something is seriously wrong with Donald Trump, look no further than this latest incident.

The MeidasTouch News reported that Orange Mussolini, who spends most of his late nights and early mornings posting AI-generated slop and other nonsense, proudly reshared an already debunked quote from the legendary actor Denzel Washington endorsing him.

In the fake quote Trump shared on Truth Social on Sunday, Washington claimed he was the “bravest and smartest” person he has ever met and that he supported the current occupant of the White House.

Trump shared the alleged endorsement from the account Red Eagle Updates and asked his followers, “Do you agree with Denzel? YES or NO?” even though the quote was already debunked by the fact-checking website Snopes as an “incorrect attribution” after it failed to find any evidence that the actor said that statement about the Orange Menace.

Of course, social media is frying Trump and also pointing out how the media would have lost it if former President Joe Biden did something so blatantly dumb, like sharing a fake quote from an actor who doesn’t like the current president.

“Mr. President, this Denzel Washington endorsement has already been fact-checked as fabricated. You reposted it anyway. When the President amplifies an invented celebrity endorsement, who exactly is spreading the fake news?” one post on X (formerly Twitter) read.

Bruh.
