D’Wayne Wiggins’ $700K estate feud gets messy

The fight over late Tony! Toni! Toné! co-founder D’Wayne Wiggins’ estimated $700,000 estate has intensified, with a judge temporarily blocking any distribution of funds while relatives continue disputing his final wishes.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the order prevents Wiggins’ estate and trust from releasing money to third parties — including donations, scholarships and grants tied to his foundation. The move comes six months after EURweb.com reported that Wiggins’ daughter, Ilahn Wiggins, challenged how the estate was being handled following his March 7, 2025 death from bladder cancer.

Ilahn questioned whether relative Veleta Savannah had legitimate authority over the estate and raised concerns about a new will and trust allegedly signed shortly before Wiggins died. Savannah is now pushing back. TMZ reports she claims Wiggins was evaluated by a doctor who found him alert, capable of managing his affairs and not in need of financial assistance. She says Wiggins executed the disputed documents the day after that exam.

Wiggins’ children dispute that account, saying he was heavily medicated and unable to make binding decisions. Savannah maintains he intended to place her in control and disinherit his children.
