ARU, also known as ZAR Universal Network (ZARU) , has announced that Ezeebit has integrated ZARU into its merchant payment infrastructure, expanding the digital asset’s use across commerce transactions.
The integration enables Ezeebit ’s commerce partners to make and receive payments in ZARU, adding another platform to the network supporting transactions using the digital asset.
According to ARU, the growing merchant base is contributing to an increase in real-world transactions settled in ZARU, strengthening its utility as a payment-focused, bank-backed digital asset.
The company said the integration will expand the range of platforms and merchants through which users can transact in ZARU, supporting its broader goal of building an interconnected payments ecosystem.
ARU described the development as part of its efforts to increase merchant adoption and extend ZARU’s presence across digital commerce, with more businesses able to use the network for payments and settlement.
