AT approximately 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, Delta Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in which a pedestrian was struck in the crosswalk at the intersection of Sunwood Drive and 64 Avenue. EHS and DFD attempted lifesaving efforts, however, the injuries were substantial and the adult male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at scene
The vehicle involved remained at the scene, and the driver is cooperating with investigators.
