Newly arrived Kitara FC signing Bonney has officially declared his readiness to handle the heavy expectations on his shoulders, promising intense determination and silverware for the club’s faithful.

Speaking immediately after finalisng his move, the ambitious player made it clear that he isn’t shrinking away from the pressure of joining a high-stakes environment.

“There is a lot expected of me, from my teammates and the fans, but I want to pledge my commitment and determination to help us win games and titles this season,” he said.

“I know the task ahead, but I’m here to improve as a player and help my team achieve success. I can’t wait to get started,” he added.

His arrival marks the conclusion of a long-term scouting mission for Kitara head coach Wasswa Bbosa, who revealed that the club has been tracking the player’s progress closely for a considerable amount of time.

Bbosa expressed immense delight at finally securing his target, praising Bonney’s positive mentality and solid experience.

“We have been monitoring him for a while and we are delighted to add him to the squad. He has a positive mentality, good experience and he brings real competition for places. He will be an important player for us next season,” the gaffer stated.

The head coach emphasised that the new signing is a vital addition who will bring fierce competition for places and serve as a pillar of strength for the team in the season ahead.

However, a spot in Bbosa’s starting lineup will not be handed to the newcomer on a silver platter.

Bonney enters a fiercely competitive squad where he will have to earn every minute of playing time through elite performances.

To lock down a regular role, he faces the immediate challenge of battling a formidable group of established teammates for a place in the starting eleven, competing directly against Murushid Jjuuko, Isa Lumu, Benjamin Nyakoojo, and Samuel Kato Nimeyimana.
