INETCO has launched INETCO BullzAI Investigate, a new AI-assisted fraud investigation module designed to help banks and payment service providers accelerate fraud investigations, reduce false positives and improve case prioritisation while ensuring human analysts remain in control of decision-making.
The company said the new module brings agentic AI to fraud case management by automatically triaging fraud alerts, analysing transaction data, prioritising high-risk cases and providing explainable risk scores. The solution is deployed on-premise using a proprietary small language model, ensuring sensitive transaction data remains within customers’ environments to meet data privacy and compliance requirements.
According to INETCO, the platform addresses growing operational challenges faced by fraud teams as digital payment fraud and AI-driven cyber threats become more sophisticated. By combining agentic AI with human oversight, the company says the solution enables faster investigations and more consistent decision-making while allowing analysts to focus on the highest-priority threats.
“INETCO BullzAI Investigate gives banks and payment service providers an intelligent way to scale the productivity of their fraud operations, reduce false positives and prioritize high-risk cases. Agentic AI automates the heavy lifting by collating transaction data, triaging alerts and delivering explainable risk scores that support faster, more transparent decisions. Rather than replacing analysts, INETCO BullzAI Investigate serves as an intelligent partner that works continuously behind the scenes, allowing fraud teams to investigate more effectively while human oversight remains firmly in control.”

INETCO cited findings from a new Chartis Research report covering a BullzAI deployment at a leading South African bank, which found that the platform combines explainable AI, adaptive machine learning and AI-assisted investigation to improve fraud detection accuracy, reduce operational noise and help fraud teams respond to evolving threats in real time.
The company said early deployments have demonstrated measurable improvements, including reducing fraud investigation times from 10–30 minutes to approximately 20 seconds, cutting investigation time by 97–99%, enabling reviews up to 90 times faster and achieving recommendation precision of approximately 95%.
“Every transaction tells a story. INETCO BullzAI Investigate helps fraud teams understand that story faster, separate real threats from noise and act with confidence, all while keeping customers safe and legitimate transactions moving.”
– Ugan Naidoo, Chief Technology Officer, INETCO
INETCO will showcase the new solution during a live webinar on July 30, where it will demonstrate how financial institutions are using agentic AI to reduce fraud investigation times from minutes or hours to approximately 20 seconds.
