Jonah Dixon: Leading with Purpose, Advancing with Excellence

Jonah Dixon is a high-achieving scholar, emerging healthcare leader, and advocate for equity in healthcare and education. Born and raised in Milwaukee, he overcame systemic barriers to earn a full academic scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. His early professional experience includes internships with Froedtert Hospital and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, where he built a strong foundation in patient care, rehabilitation, and large-scale conference operations.

As Chief Officer and co-founder of the BLK PWR Coalition, Jonah has led initiatives that raised more than $100,000 in support of Black communities, demonstrating his ability to mobilize resources and drive meaningful impact. He also serves as Vice President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he advances service, advocacy, and academic excellence. Across these roles, he has developed a leadership approach grounded in operational effectiveness, community empowerment, and expanding access to opportunity.

In 2026, Jonah completed his first master’s degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development at Louisiana State University. During that same year, he served as a Graduate Residence Coordinator, leading a team of 13 and supporting more than 800 students across multiple university residential communities. He also established the foundation for his process improvement consulting business, JD Solutions, securing initial clients and expanding his experience in operational strategy. In Fall 2026, he will begin a Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2028.
