KCCA hopes for Vipers slip-up as they face URA at Hamz stadium

KCCA will hope to keep pressure on leaders Vipers when they visit URA at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on Tuesday.

The fixture, rescheduled to 4pm, simultaneously with the Venoms’ visit to Maroons at Wankulukuku is a must win for the Kasasiro who are three points behind Vipers.

Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera’s men must win and hope the reigning champions falter.

“For now, the most important thing is to win our game and hope results elsewhere go their way,” said co-head coach Magera who promises to keep same team.

On the other hand, URA come into the game on the back of elimination from the Uganda Cup by SC Villa in the semi-final and have now gone ten straight matches without an outright victory.

Hussein Mbalangu, who prides himself in beating KCCA will hope the side puts an end to the abysmal run.

A win for KCCA and faltering for Vipers will take the title race to the final day of the season.

Elsewhere, Police host Entebbe UPPC at Kamwokya, Kitara visit BUL at Njeru, UPDF host Calvary at Bombo, Mbarara City are at home to Buhimba while Express host Lugazi in the day’s late kick off.
