By Zoila Palma: The Labour Department continues to strengthen its partnership with the San Pedro Town Council through ongoing Labour Education sessions designed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to foster positive workplace environments.
Labour Officers recently facilitated training sessions on Conflict Management: Rights and Responsibilities for Traffic Wardens and Security Officers employed by the San Pedro Town Council.
The Department says that the sessions were highly interactive and incorporated role-playing exercises and real life workplace scenarios, allowing participants to better understand their rights, responsibilities, and effective approaches to managing conflict in the workplace.
Through initiatives such as these, the Labour Department says that it remains committed to promoting harmonious labour relations, strengthening workplace communication, and empowering workers with practical knowledge that contributes to productive and respectful work environments.
