LeBron James Response To Donald Trump Was Short & Sweet
LeBron James brushes off Trump's criticism about his national anthem warm-up routine, calling it a 'slow news day' while coach Nick Nurse dismisses it as 'outside noise.'

LeBron James responded to Donald Trump’s latest comments about him, and as expected, the King took the high road, but we’re sure the current occupant of the White House still has feelings.
James is currently on his quest to win a 5th championship in what could be his final season, and was asked after being a part of a historic 29-point comeback Thursday night about the criticism he received from Orange Mussolini about his “disrespect” to the troops for “practicing his golf swing” and warming up as the Star-Spangled Banner played before the Sixers matchup with the New York Knicks.
The NBA champion and Basketball Hall of Fame lock laughed off Trump’s criticism and sent a very short message to the president.
“Must have been a slow news day at the office. Slow news day at the office,” James said, while chuckling.
Bron’s head coach, Nick Nurse, kept that same energy, calling Trump’s comments “outside noise” when speaking to reporters before the game.
“I think that goes right in with other outside noise we’ve already had,” Nurse said. “I keep saying the same thing. All I really care about is getting to the practice floor, getting them in the film room, getting them to the game floor. The focus that they’ve had and the intent and all the stuff like that has been outstanding.”
As for what exactly Trump said, he hopped on his crappy platform, Truth Social, and shared his thoughts on the viral clip of James going through his warm-up routine before the game.
“While listening to our National Anthem, LeBron James disrespects our Country! I said right from the beginning that he’s no good, a TOTAL DISGRACE. LeBron James should apologize to all of those Great American Warriors and Heroes who died for the American Flag, and all that our Country stands for! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Orange Mussolini said.
LeBron James & Donald Trump’s Beef Dates Back To 2016
The ongoing “beef” between James and Trump dates back to the 2016 Presidential Election. James famously endorsed Hillary Clinton, showed up to a rally in Cleveland, and helped get-out-the-vote measures following the tragic death of George Floyd, helping Joe Biden and Kamala Harris win the 2020 election.
James also didn’t hold back calling Trump a “bum” for criticizing Steph Curry for not visiting the White House under his leadership.
As expected, the streets have plenty to say about James response to Trump; you can see those reactions below.
