FOLLOWING his appointment on Friday as the new Triangle Football Club head coach, Lloyd Chitembwe conducted his first training session with the team over the weekend.
The former CAPS United gaffer succeeds Thomas Ruzive, who was fired last Tuesday after a string of poor results.
Under Ruzive, Triangle lost all four of their opening league games and is currently second from bottom on the log with zero points, the same as Manica Diamonds.
After conducting two training sessions with the team, Chitembwe said he is impressed with the squad and believes it can improve.
“The expectation is to do well, and it is doable. I have had two training sessions with the group, and I am impressed with what I have seen.
“They are good boys and tactically very sound,” said Chitembwe while giving his assessment of his new team.
Triangle plays Agama FC Thursday in their next Premier Soccer League fixture at Gibbo Stadium.
Chitembwe is marking his return to the league since parting ways with CAPS United in May last year.
