The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdullah Ould Souleiman Ould Cheikh Sidiya, met today, Friday, in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, with His Excellency the Kuwaiti Minister of Finance, Dr Yaqoub Al-Sayed Youssef Al-Sayed Hashim Al-Rifai.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 2026 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, currently being held in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged greetings and expressions of appreciation, with the Minister expressing his thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its continued support and steadfast commitment to Mauritania’s development efforts.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to reaffirm their shared commitment to continuing coordination and consultation, and to strengthening fraternal and fruitful cooperation in the interests of both brotherly countries.
