By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The National Celebrations Commission made a contribution to the Queen of the Bay Committee today, ahead of the 81st Queen of the Bay Pageant.
Director Kim Vasquez presented the contribution on behalf of Chairman Francis Fonseca and the National Celebrations Commission.
The Queen of the Bay Pageant is one of the longest running events on Belize’s September Celebrations calendar, and this year marks its 81st edition.
The pageant traditionally forms part of the lead up to Independence Day celebrations, drawing contestants from across the country.
