Resilient Rural Belize’s bridge project in Trio nears completion

By Zoila Palma:  Toledo East Area Representative Dr. Osmond Martinez toured the construction site of the bridge on the Trio Farm road as it nears completion.

Martinez noted that the final touches of filling the edges and shoulder of the bridge is underway and soon will be accessible.

Martinez extended gratitude to Resilient Rural Belize for “making this project a reality for the people of Trio.

We will get to every community through one project at a time.”

The Resilient Rural Belize Programme (RRB) is a comprehensive initiative under the Ministry of Economic Transformation (MET) aimed at enhancing climate resilience and improving the livelihoods of rural communities across Belize.

RRB is funded through a partnership between the Government of Belize, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
