In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Shamea manages to rub Cynthia the wrong way amid her feud with Angela. Plus, Drew’s sit-down with K. Michelle and Shamea goes nowhere. Here are the highlights for “Star Spangled Mess.”
Cynthia introduces her boyfriend to the group.
Porsha, Phaedra, Angela, and Drew catch up at Cynthia’s place. She introduces them to her boyfriend, LePrince, from Amsterdam. They have been in a long-distance relationship for two years.
Prince tells the ladies it was nice to meet them before making his exit. In a green screen interview, Cynthia says she appreciates the fact that he prefers to stay out of women’s business. Porsha says this is the happiest she has ever seen Cynthia with any man.
Porsha discusses her recent chat with K. Michelle. She tells the others that they agreed to move forward, but being accused of plotting against her is still confusing.
Angela tells them about her messy sit-down with Shamea. She tells them that Shamea was the one who took it to hell first, and she responded by accusing Shamea of sleeping with players from the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks.
Shamea recently invited some of the ladies to a surprise party for Gerald, but Porsha and Drew didn’t receive invites.
Cynthia isn’t feeling Shamea’s comments about Angela.
Shamea tells her side of things at Gerald’s surprise party. Cynthia is taken aback and offended by Shamea referring to Angela as “Bigfoot.” Cynthia decides to let Shamea have it since they are inside her home.
Porsha meets with Gizelle from RHOP. They have maintained their friendship since ending their Bravo Chatroom show. When Gizelle asks Porsha where she currently stands with Shamea, Porsha says she is focused on being cordial at this point. She doesn’t feel the need to be nasty, so she has no problem inviting Shamea to her upcoming events, although Shamea may feel differently.
Phaedra visits K. Michelle.
K. Michelle invites Phaedra over to fish. In a confessional, K. Michelle says she was originally determined not to like Phaedra, but she actually finds Phaedra to be the most relatable.
Drew sings the national anthem at the memorial event for Rich Homie Quan. Some of the ladies come out in support.
Drew isn’t able to make progress with Shamea or K. Michelle.
K. Michelle and Drew attempt to talk things out in front of Shamea. Drew tells K. that she doesn’t understand what the issue is between them, and she needs to start speaking up for herself. In response, K. tells Shamea that she is heading to the restroom, but she actually departs in Shamea’s car, leaving Shamea and Drew to finish the conversation without her.
Drew tells Shamea she is being a lapdog to K. Michelle, and K. Michelle needs to speak up for herself.
