Freeman’s Village Scorpions ended their 2025/26 First Division campaign on a winning note after blanking Five Islands FC 5-0 when they met at the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Technical Center on Sunday.
Scorpions, already promoted to the Antigua Premier League (APL) for the 2026/27 domestic season, were propelled by single strikes from Zakeem Michael in the 50th, Junioe Lee in the 54th, Romar Gidersingh in the 67th, Mekai Lewis in the 72nd and Roy Gregory in the 88th.
The win lifts Scorpions to 59 points alongside league winners Greenbay Hoppers who boasts a superior goal difference. The results mean that both Hoppers and Scorpions have been automatically promoted to the top flight while Swetes and SAP will play Green City in the three-team round-robin playoffs. The winners will play in the APL next season.
