The wood-paneled "shed" in Western Pennsylvania where John R. Miller and Chloe Edmonstone sit looks like it's fit for a house party. There's an old, plaid couch, a vintage fridge with travel magnets (hopefully stocked with cheap beer), and a sheet pan with aluminum foil prepped for snacks. Playing an acoustic version of Miller's waltz, "Daughter of Night," which appears on his new album The Great Unknowing, all that's missing is a few more couples dancing around the room.
