Trump to Revisit 2020 Election in Prime-Time Address to the Nation

WASHINGTON (AURN News) — Nearly six years after the 2020 election, President Donald Trump is once again putting it at the center of the national conversation.

On Thursday night, he will deliver a rare prime-time White House address in which administration officials say he will unveil newly declassified intelligence about foreign efforts to influence the 2020 election.

The White House has not released the documents or explained what the new evidence contains. Intelligence agencies have long concluded that countries including Russia and Iran sought to influence American voters through propaganda, cyber operations and disinformation.

But those same agencies, along with state election officials, courts and multiple investigations, have consistently found no evidence that foreign actors changed vote totals or altered the certified outcome of the election.

The key question is whether the administration will present genuinely new intelligence or reframe information that has already been reviewed.
