Nevis — After more than a decade away from competitive cricket, Vijay Harrinarain has made an impressive return to the sport, delivering a remarkable performance for the Brown Hill Cricket Club in the Bank of Nevis 40 Over First Division tournament.
In only his second competitive match back, Harrinarain claimed outstanding bowling figures of 5 wickets for 47 runs in 8 overs, marking a memorable comeback to the game that shaped much of his character and personal development.
“Cricket was essentially my life growing up,” said Harrinarain. “What started as a hobby grew into a passion that slowly became a way of life. Many of the traits that define my competitiveness and resilience today were developed through my love for the game.”
