WEATHER: Cold, windy conditions with showers expected in three provinces

KWAZULU-NATAL
KwaZulu-Natal will start the day with patches of fog in some areas before partly cloudy and cold to cool conditions take hold.
Isolated showers and rain are expected across most parts of the province, except the south-west.
Along the coast, light to moderate south-westerly winds will turn north-easterly from mid-morning and spread to Kosi Bay by evening.

DURBAN
Durban will see partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers and rain during the morning.
Light south-westerly winds will become light to moderate north-easterly from late morning, while temperatures range from 16°C to 21°C.

The Free State will start the day with fog in the far eastern areas before giving way to partly cloudy and cold to cool conditions.
Isolated showers and thundershowers may develop over the north-western parts later in the day.
BLOEMFONTEIN
Bloemfontein will see partly cloudy conditions throughout the day. Temperatures will range from a chilly 5°C in the morning to 17°C in the afternoon.
NORTH WEST
North West will see partly cloudy, windy and cool conditions, with isolated showers and thundershowers developing in most areas, except the eastern parts.
MAHIKENG
Mahikeng can expect partly cloudy and windy conditions, with isolated showers and thundershowers developing during the day.
Temperatures will range from 10°C in the morning to 18°C in the afternoon.
