From Black Wall Streets to HBCUs, Black people have built thriving communities for themselves throughout U.S. history apart from racism and white supremacy. But what does it mean to build these institutions — all-Black safe spaces — in today’s political environment?
Join Word In Black as we discuss the viability, opportunities, and obstacles related to starting these “safe havens,” as well as tips for people interested in launching their own.
