18-Year-Old Seth Ethan Reneau Earns National Team Debut 

The Saint Lucia Boxing Association celebrates a significant milestone as 18-year-old Seth Ethan Reneau of Mon Repos, Micoud earns his debut call-up to the National Team.

Seth joined a four man national boxing team who traveled to Guadeloupe on Wednesday June 24, at the invitation of the GwadaBoxing Club to compete at the 2026 Boxing Gala, scheduled for June 27.

Reneau’s selection is the result of discipline, sacrifice, and commitment to his craft. His rise to the national team reflects the kind of work ethic that continues to inspire young athletes across the island.

The left-handed lightweight boxer has built his reputation through consistent training, personal sacrifice, and a determination to improve every day. His achievement is being hailed as a powerful example of what can be accomplished when talent is matched with preparation.

SLBA 1st Vice President Shannon Lebourne praised the young athlete’s accomplishment saying, “Seth Ethan Reneau’s selection is a testament to discipline, consistency, and belief in the process.
