Blacks Power returned to the top of the table standings with a 2-1 home victory over Wakiso Giants at the Ebenezar University playground in Lira city.
Emmanuel Janan Okech and Innocent Maduka scored in either half for Michael Skillz Lukyamuzi’s coached side.
Blacks Power now has 42 points, same as Kigezi Home Boyz who fell 0-1 to Young Elephants Academy in Nwoya.
Bunyaruguru United moved to 6th place with a resounding 3-0 win away from home over Nebbi Central at the Luo stadium in Nebbi.
Elsewhere, Onduparaka edged visiting Soltilo Bright Stars 1-0 at the Ababet Green Light stadium, Arua.
Iganga United also won 1-0 over Kiyinda Boys at the Iganga Ssaza grounds and Mbale Heroes beat Kaaro Karungi 1-0 in Mbale city.
On Saturday, CATDA overcame Ntugasaze 2-1 at the Bugolobi Coffee playgrounds in Kampala.
Earlier in the week, Onduparaka and Bunyaruguru United had shared the spoils 1-all in Arua.
Four clubs will be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League by the end of the 2025/26 season.
Equally, four clubs shall be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
