A 21-year-old woman is fighting for her life in the Intensive Care Unit at the Owen King EU Hospital after being shot in the head during an incident in Bois D’Orange on Thursday night.
Details surrounding the incident remain limited. However, according to a resident of Sugar City, Bois D’Orange, the sound of gunfire echoed through the quiet community shortly after 9 p.m.
Police were called to the area and were reportedly informed that a 21-year-old female had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transported to hospital for emergency medical treatment, where she remains in critical condition.
