Night Shadow, crewed in part by Anguillian sailors, secured first place among the Corinthian entries in its class at the 2026 ORC World Championship in Italy.
The Swiss-flagged Barton and Cummings 52-foot race yacht, owned by Port Nimara marina executive chair David Mizrahi, posted a string of solid finishes in the eight race competition.
Port Nimara sponsored the participation of the three Anguillian sailors, Cheryl Webster, Kendal ‘Kenny’ Richardson and Thomas Maccow from the Anguilla Youth Sailing Club.

Mizrahi told Anguilla Focus: “We are proud to support these exceptional sailors as they represent Anguilla internationally.
“This is a unique opportunity and we are delighted to welcome them to Europe and to one of the world’s premier sailing competitions.”
The 2026 ORC World Championship is one of the most prestigious events in international sailing, combining world-class competition with the settings of Naples and Sorrento.
It is organised by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia in collaboration with the Yacht Club Italiano (Genoa) and the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia.
The event took place from 5 to 14 May in partnership with the Offshore Racing Congress and was supported by Rolex and Loro Piana.
Night Shadow has a strong competitive record, including two consecutive Copa del Rey victories and multiple major offshore and inshore wins.
