THE latest BC Conservative leadership contender to withdraw from the race is businessman Warren Hamm who announced on Sunday that he has thrown his support behind entrepreneur and philanthropist Yuri Fulmer.
In a post on his X, Hamm said: “Thank you to everyone who supported this journey. BC needs real change—leaders who understand business, budgets, and results. To move that forward, I’m supporting [Yuri Fulmer] and his team. He is the only other builder in this race and together we can win.”
The other four contenders now are MLA Peter Milobar, commentator Caroline Elliott, former B.C. Liberal cabinet minister Iain Black and former Conservative MP Kerry-Lynne Findlay.
The new leader will be announced on May 30 at the Leadership Convention.
