By Zoila Palma: Today, the Government and People of Belize extended warm felicitations to the Government and People of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Independence.
“Belize and Guyana share a proud common history, enduring Caribbean identity, and a steadfast commitment to the principles and values of the Caribbean Community,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed.
The Ministry says that as sister nations on the mainland of the Caribbean, our countries have continued to strengthen bonds of friendship and cooperation.
“Belize looks forward to building on this partnership,” the Ministry added.
