Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla has unveiled a refreshed version of its beachfront Cap Shack on Maundays Bay, pairing a new Caribbean-inspired look with a menu focused on local seafood and regional flavors.

The reimagined beach bar and grill is led by Chef de Cuisine Primrose Ritchie-Gumbs, with a menu that includes grilled Caribbean spiny lobster with Creole butter, a Sandy Ground lobster roll with curried brown-butter mayo and mango chow, Island Harbour crayfish and freshly caught seafood prepared over an open flame.

The setting remains one of the resort’s biggest draws: Cap Shack sits directly on Maundays Bay, giving guests a casual beachfront option for lunch and sunset drinks.

There is also a new rum component this season.

Cap Juluca has introduced CAP RUM, a bespoke small-batch, barrel-aged rum made in Anguilla exclusively for the resort in collaboration with Topper’s Rhum.

The new Cap Shack concept leans into the kind of experience Anguilla does especially well: great beach, serious local seafood, rum and a relaxed setting right on the sand.
