Communications Authority Expands Digital Access with Computer Donations to Siaya Schools

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA)  has donated computers to Komora Vocational Training Centre and St. Benedict’s Konya Secondary School in Siaya County as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, aimed at expanding access to digital education.

The initiative is designed to enhance digital learning by providing students and tutors with computers that will enable access to online educational resources, strengthen ICT skills, and prepare learners for opportunities in the digital economy.

According to the Authority, the donation supports efforts to bridge the digital divide by ensuring that more educational institutions have the tools needed to integrate technology into teaching and learning.

The CA said the programme reflects its commitment to fostering digital inclusion and empowering young people with the skills required to participate in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Through similar initiatives, the Authority aims to contribute to building a more connected and digitally empowered Kenya by expanding access to ICT infrastructure and digital learning resources in schools.
