Nevis, St. Kitts and Nevis – Prominent attorney and Managing Partner of Joseph Rowe, Attorneys-at-Law, Dahlia Joseph Rowe has lauded the Nevis Financial Services Regulatory Commission (FSRC) for hosting an exceptional two-day conference, describing the event as a testament to the strength, professionalism, and resilience of Nevis’ financial services sector.
Rowe, who served as moderator for the conference, admitted that stepping into the role required her to venture outside her comfort zone.
“They say we should step outside our comfort zone now and then. But my comfort zone is comfortable,” Rowe remarked. “When I agreed to moderate this conference, I knew I was venturing beyond familiar territory. Courtrooms are second nature to me, and public speaking is something I enjoy, but moderating a major industry conference was a different experience altogether.”
Despite her initial reservations, Rowe said the experience proved to be both enjoyable and rewarding, thanks in large part to the support of the FSRC team.
“My sincere thanks to Senior Regulator Andre Cadogan and his phenomenal team for their exceptional support throughout the conference,” she said. “Their professionalism, preparation, and dedication made the experience seamless and rewarding.”
Rowe also praised the Commission’s broader contribution to the development and sustainability of Nevis’ internationally respected financial services industry.
“I am often asked how Nevis has managed to maintain such a robust and respected financial services industry. My answer is always the same: the Nevis FSRC,” she stated. “The tremendous work they do to foster a culture of compliance is, in my view, one of the most important factors in safeguarding and strengthening any financial services jurisdiction.”
The attorney further noted that the Commission’s achievement in hosting its annual conference for seventeen consecutive years is a milestone deserving of recognition.
“Seventeen years of hosting a world-class annual conference at home is an achievement worthy of recognition and applause,” Rowe added. “Take a bow, Nevis Financial Services Regulatory Commission. You delivered with distinction.”
The annual conference remains a key forum for discussing regulatory developments, industry trends, and best practices, reinforcing Nevis’ reputation as a leading, well-regulated international financial services jurisdiction.
