Emtee Eyes Historic FNB Stadium Takeover With Da Big Hustle One-Man Show. Emtee has put a major question to his fans as he considers taking his Da Big Hustle One-Man Show to the iconic FNB Stadium.

The award-winning rapper, real name Mthembeni Ndevu, recently called on his Hustle Gang to weigh in on whether he should bring the next edition of his one-man show to the Johannesburg stadium.

“Should I fill FNB Stadium??? Let me know if I should bring Da Big Hustle One Man Show to FNB Stadium…” Emtee wrote on social media, directing fans to an official registration page hosted by Goldex Events.

The registration campaign presents the potential concert as Da Big Hustle: One Man Show 2.0, allowing fans to register their interest. According to the campaign, registrations will serve as an indication of demand, with those who sign up set to receive priority communication should the event move forward. Registration does not confirm the concert or guarantee a ticket.

The proposed stadium show comes after Emtee successfully staged his first Da Big Hustle One Man Show at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park on 8 March 2025.

The sold-out event marked a decade of Emtee’s career and featured a live band alongside an impressive lineup of South African hip-hop names, including Big Zulu, Sjava, Nasty C, A-Reece, Usimamane, Tony Dayimane, 25K, Fifi Cooper and Saudi.

For Emtee, the show represented more than another concert. The rapper described the experience as a “rebirth” as he celebrated his journey, music and relationship with his supporters.

Taking the concept to FNB Stadium would represent a significant step up.

The venue, also known as Soccer City, can accommodate nearly 95,000 people and has become one of the most sought-after stages for major music events in South Africa. Cassper Nyovest made history with his 2017 Fill Up FNB concert, proving that a South African hip-hop artist could draw a massive crowd to the stadium.

Emtee now appears to be considering whether he can create a similar moment with Da Big Hustle.

Adding momentum to the idea is a fan-led Change.org petition calling for Emtee to headline FNB Stadium in 2027. The campaign has reportedly attracted more than 10,000 signatures, with supporters pointing to his influence, longevity and the connection he has maintained with listeners since his breakout success with “Roll Up.”

A stadium concert, however, would require significant planning and investment, from venue costs and production to security, staffing and sponsorship.

For now, there is no confirmed date for Da Big Hustle One Man Show 2.0 at FNB Stadium. Emtee and Goldex Events are instead testing the level of interest before potentially taking the idea forward.
