Entebbe UPPC finally know what victory tastes like after overcoming relegation threatened Buhimba United Saints on Thursday at the Royals Park, Butema.
The Printers had gone five games without victory in the League but that ended today with a 2-1 win over Buhimba United. They had lost to SC Villa, Kitara and drawn games against Lugazi, NEC and URA in that run.
The win however, came through hard work with Abdallah Mubiru’s charges needing a stoppage time winner to compete a comeback.
Anwar Ntege gave Buhimba the lead in the 36th minute but Ambrose Kigozi got the equalizer for the visitors four minutes before the break.
With three added minutes, Entebbe grabbed the winner in the second minute through Issa Mubiru’s deflected cross that found the back of the net.
Buhimba ended the game with a player less after David Kasaija was sent off before the fulltime whistle.
The result moves Entebbe to 40 points in fifth place while Buhimba remain second from bottom on 15 points.
