EVENT: What’s on Your Plate Part 2, 9/16

As the U.S. continues to navigate the widespread Cyclospora outbreak that sickened thousands over the summer, Word In Black will host the second edition of the virtual food series, “What’s on Your Plate.”

Word In Black’s Head of Content Joseph Williams will sit down with Black farmers from around the country to discuss our broken food safety system, how to find quality food and why Black farms matter.

Health Correspondent Jennifer Porter Gore and Insights & Research Director Dr. Christa Mahlobo will also break down the findings from Word In Black’s national survey exploring Black America’s relationship with food.
