If, like many of us here at Refinery29, you’ve already smashed through the first season of Prime Video’s viral sensation Off Campus, based on Elle Kennedy’s beloved book series of the same name, we’ve got some good news to satisfy those cravings. Despite only launching on 13 May 2026, Prime Video has already confirmed a second season of the swoon-worthy drama set at Briar University. Fans can rest easy knowing they won’t have to wait long for more romance, drama, and campus antics. The first season of Off Campus centres on a fake-dating plot between Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), a musician with big dreams, and ice hockey prodigy Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), featuring Josh Heuston (Heartbreak High) as magnetic musician, Justin Kohl. When will Off Campus Season 2 be released? Before Season 1 of Off Campus aired, it was announced that Season 2 had already been greenlit by Prime Video, making eager fans suspect we might be back at Briar University sooner than we think. Speaking to Variety earlier this month, show creator Louisa Levy confirmed that “all eight scripts are written” for the show’s second season. While we don’t have an exact release date, wrapping up the Season 1 press tour, stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli confirmed they’re about to head straight back into production, with some speculating it could be as soon as June 1. Who will be in Off Campus Season 2? If the ending of Season 1 is anything to go by, we suspect fan-favorites Dean and Allie will take center stage in Season 2, particularly with how things were left in the final scene. Much like Netflix’s Bridgerton, each season of Off Campus is set to follow the relationship arc of different characters. While the second book in Kennedy’s series, The Mistake, follows Logan and Grace, the showrunners have already proven they’re not afraid to deviate from the source material. As for the rest of the main cast, we can expect returns by the likes of Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, while Levy confirmed that Josh Heuston would not be returning for Season 2, but that she would “never say never” about him coming back at some point.
