Mbarara City’s fight for survival takes another twist when they host Express at Rwamanja stadium in Kamwenge.
The Ankole Lions are winless in nine consecutive matches and sit just above the relegation zone with 18 points, only three above safety.
They have not won a league match since February 12 when they won 1-0 against bottom placed Calvary at Kamwenge.
During that run, they have lost six and drawn three including the last match in which they squandered a two-goal lead in the 2-2 stalemate with Maroons in their last outing.
Meanwhile, Express who lie 9th on the table with 30 points want to win to keep hopes of finishing in the top eight viable.
They are winless in the last two matches and saw their five-match unbeaten streak ended by BUL in the last outing.
