Faena Residences Miami hosted a special exhibition celebrating architect and designer Jessica Solnicki and her multidisciplinary studio, ISSKA, at AP Space Gallery in Chelsea, New York City. The event highlighted Solnicki’s distinctive approach to design, bringing together architecture, interiors, furniture, and collectible works in an immersive presentation.
The exhibition featured a curated collection of furniture and design objects that reflect ISSKA’s commitment to craftsmanship, materiality, and sculptural form. Drawing inspiration from architecture, fashion, and artisanal traditions, Solnicki’s work explores the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Each piece balanced functionality with artistic expression, creating an experience that felt both refined and deeply personal.
As the founder of ISSKA, Jessica Solnicki has built a practice that spans architecture, interior design, furniture, and installations. Her work is recognized for combining strong architectural forms with natural materials and handcrafted details, resulting in spaces and objects that feel timeless and intentional. Through residential, hospitality, and design projects, Solnicki continues to explore the intersection of beauty, utility, and storytelling.
The exhibition also highlighted the vision behind Faena Residences Miami, a new luxury residential development centered around Faena Rose, the brand’s first permanent cultural institution integrated directly into residential life. Designed to offer year-round cultural programming and experiences, the project brings together an acclaimed creative team including Rafael Viñoly, Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, wellness expert Inge Theron, artists Andrés Reisinger and Juan Gatti, and founder Alan Faena.
Art, architecture, interiors, and wellness have been woven into the development from its inception, creating a holistic approach to luxury living. Located along the Miami River, the property will feature the longest continuous residential dock in the area, offering direct marina access and a unique connection to one of Miami’s fastest-growing waterfront destinations.
Adding to the evening’s atmosphere was a special ballet performance inspired by the multidisciplinary nature of ISSKA’s work. The performance underscored the exhibition’s themes of movement, form, and creative expression while highlighting the natural synergy between ISSKA and Faena Residences Miami. Together, the collaboration explored how architecture, interiors, and design can shape meaningful experiences and foster deeper connections between people and place.
Located in Chelsea’s renowned gallery district, AP Space Gallery provided the ideal setting for the exhibition. Known for showcasing both emerging and established artists, with a strong focus on Korean contemporary art and cross-cultural dialogue, the gallery continues to serve as a platform for artistic innovation and global creative exchange.
