Kitara Football Club will face Somalia’s Mogadishu Sports Club during the preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
The first leg will be between 16th to 18th October 2026 with the second leg in Hoima between 23rd and 25th October 2026.
This was confirmed during the draws held in Cairo city, Egypt on 6th August 2026.
The winner between Kitara and Mogadishu will face Egypt’s Al Ahly Sports Club during the first round.
Others confirmed fixtures:
Zed (Egypt) plays ASAS Djibouti (Djibouti) at the preliminary round with the victor facing Tanzania’s Azam in the first round.
Other preliminary round ties will witness Al Hilal Alsahil against Welwalo Adigrat; Al Ahli Madani faces Kenya’s Tusker; The Panthers take on ASPAC and AS PSI will place CO Khorogo.
AS Douanes plays Hafia; El Kanemi Warriors against UDIB, AF Amadou Diallo plays East End Lions, ES Zarzis against Diambars, FC Diarra tussles Nations.
Red Arrows will play FC Rouge, Durban City locks horns against Rukinzo, Panthere Sportive against Rayon Sports and DC Virunga plays P.Bazar Brothers.
