Uganda Premier League side URA have confirmed the signing of electric and agile winger, Muhammad Kyeyune.
The development has been confirmed via the club’s official social media platforms today, Tuesday, June 7, 2026.
“Welcome Muhammad Kyeyune — a talented winger ready to bring impact, skill and creativity to the Tax Collectors family,” the statement partly reads.
Kyeyune becomes URA’s first signing in the ongoing transfer window. He has put pen on a three-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.
Kyeyune joins from UPL side, Entebbe UPPC where he had a decent campaign with the league newbies. His trickery, quick feet and agility will be a great addition to the club’s attacking plans.
A seasoned left-footed attacker, Kyeyune brings valuable experience from various clubs across the country and the wider region.
Before joining Entebbe UPPC, he enjoyed an impressive two-season spell with Rwanda’s Muhazi United between 2023 and 2025, racking up nine goals and eight assists.
He later moved to Entebbe UPPC FC, where he contributed two goals and three assists during the 2025/26 season before earning his recent transfer to URA FC.
Kyeyune’s football journey began at the KCCA Soccer Academy. Since then, he has steadily progressed through several notable clubs, including Maroons FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Muhazi United, and Entebbe UPPC.
