By Breaking Belize News Staff: Interdicted police officer Orvin Justin Williams, who is accused of the double murder of his mother-in-law and her twin brother, was provided with partial disclosure in court on Wednesday after spending more than six months on remand.
The 25-year-old officer of Hattieville appeared unrepresented before a Magistrate in Court #3 of the Belize City Magistrate’s Court, where he was handed 160 pages of disclosure material.
The court was informed that the disclosure remains incomplete, and the matter was adjourned until May 18, 2026, when the remainder is expected to be provided before a date for a preliminary inquiry can be set.
Williams is accused of the murders of twin siblings Paula Belisle, 57, who was reportedly the mother of his deceased wife, and Paul Esquilliano, both of Hattieville Village.
The siblings were fatally shot on Monday, September 15, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the American New Site area of Hattieville Village.
