PR1X: District Red transforms The Nanson into a neon-lit Asian metropolis this Singapore Grand Prix weekend
Singapore and Hong Kong's nightlife scenes are coming together for a late-night detour from the race circuit. PR1X: District Red is set to take over The Nanson on 10 October, transforming the Singapore private members' club into a fictional neon-lit Asian metropolis for one night. For the occasion, The Nanson will also open its doors to the public. Taking inspiration from Hong Kong's neon backstreets, old-school Chinatown, vintage hotel lounges and late-night listening bars, the F1 weekend party will unfold across three immersive districts — each with its own atmosphere and soundtrack. At the heart of District Red is Rouge Temple, the night's high-energy main room. Hong Kong's Willer, whose international appearances have included Burning Man, fabric London, Watergate, Sisyphos, Womb Tokyo and Wonderfruit, will take over the decks alongside HE.R Soundsystem, the duo comprising Cocoa and Alex Nude. Singapore's Sivanesh, co-founder of Sivilian Affairs and former music director of Potato Head and Kilo, will complete the Rouge Temple lineup. Meanwhile, Saloon will head further underground with Dodgy Yamamoto. The Singapore DJ will bring tribal rhythms and underground house to the room, drawing from a career that has seen him share stages with the likes of Massive Attack, Kruder & Dorfmeister, François Kevorkian and Gilles Peterson. Rather than keeping the action to a single dance floor, PR1X: District Red invites partygoers to wander between its three districts and discover a different atmosphere behind each door — with a red thread connecting the experience throughout the night.
