His Excellency the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr Julius Mada Bio, left Nouakchott at midday today, Tuesday, following a two-day working visit to our country.
His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, led the delegation seeing off his Sierra Leonean counterpart at the aircraft steps at Nouakchott International Airport (Oum Al-Tounsi), accompanied by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr Mokhtar Ould Diay, His Excellency the Minister in charge of the Office of the President, Mr El-Nani Ould Chrouqa, the Chief of the President’s Private Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed Mokhtar Cheikh Amni, the Governor of West Nouakchott, Mr Hamoud Ould Mohamed, and the President of the Nouakchott Region, Ms Fatima bint Abdelmalek.
After listening to the national anthems and a ceremonial guard of honour, the guest from Sierra Leone was seen off by the Speaker of the National Assembly, His Excellency the Minister-Counsellor to the Presidency, members of the Government, senior state officials, the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, and members of the African diplomatic corps accredited to Mauritania.
