Ritzy cafe/bar menu – from no meat to nothing but meat!

After three and a half years at The Ritzy Cinema, the vegan En Root Indian Fusion menu departed last month to be replaced by The Merge, an authentic Afro-Fusion takeaway and restaurant based in Camberwell.

And the change couldn’t be any more different with the plant-powered dishes being replaced by a menu that offers no vegan – or indeed vegetarian – main dish options.

A few people have written to Brixton Buzz to express their disappointment with this change, with the only ‘big plate’ options being chicken, fish, tuna, more chicken, beef and lamb chops.

Hungry non meat eaters will have to make do with the limited small plates and sides options or, more likely, go somewhere where their dietary choices are supported.

What do you think?

Should the Merge offer at least one veggie main dish?  Or is is just sweet revenge for the three years of not offering any meat at all?
