Police are investigating a robbery and a shooting which reportedly occurred late last week on All Saints Road.
According to reports, the incident happened around 3 p.m. on June 12th at a construction site, where two armed men reportedly robbed another man of a gold chain, a gold watch, a gold ring and an undisclosed sum of money.
Reports indicate that the victim was standing outside the unfinished building when the suspects approached him. One of the men was armed with what appeared to be a firearm and demanded his jewelry before both suspects removed the items and fled.
As they ran from the scene, they reportedly fired shots, injuring a worker in the lower abdomen. The injured man was taken to hospital, where his injury was said to be minor.
The two suspects allegedly remain at large.
