Six juveniles have been arrested and formally charged with a series of offences, including robbery, endangering life, use of a firearm and theft of motor vehicles.

The charges stem from incidents reported between February and September 2026 and were laid by the Barbados Police Service Major Crime Unit and Criminal Investigations Department in Hastings/Worthing, Central, Black Rock and District ‘A’.
Among the charges are multiple counts of robbery, endangering life, use of a firearm, wounding with intent and theft of motor vehicles.
The juveniles also face charges including aggravated burglary, assault with intent to rob, assaulting police officers, resisting a police officer and escaping lawful custody.
Four of the juveniles appeared before Magistrate (Ag) Jared Richards in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Thursday, while the other two appeared before Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick on Wednesday.
They were not required to plead to the indictable offences.
One juvenile was granted $2,000 bail, while the other five were remanded to the Barbados Prison Service at Dodds.
All six are scheduled to reappear in court on October 15.
