BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – The St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee (SKNOC), in partnership with Panam Sports, successfully concluded Day 1 of the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) Workshop, marking an impactful start to the nation’s grassroots values-based sports initiative.
The opening day convened educators, sports coaches, administrators, and community leaders from across St. Kitts and Nevis to explore the foundations of Olympic Values Education. Through interactive modules and collaborative group sessions, participants examined practical strategies to integrate the core Olympic pillars—Respect, Friendship, and Excellence—into youth development programs nationwide.
Day 2 will transition from theoretical frameworks to practical implementation. Delegates will work through actionable toolkits and strategic planning sessions designed to empower educators to deliver these values directly into local schools and community organisations.
