So Fresh, So Clean: OutKast x Atlanta Falcons ‘ATLiens’ 30th Anniversary Collab
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of sophomore success, rap icons OutKast enlist the Atlanta Falcons for a collaborative collection to honor their hometown.

Atlanta is one of the most influential cities in the world, especially when it comes to the many hometown heroes who hail from the Hollywood of the South.
In a move that puts on for The A in a monumental way, iconic rap duo OutKast has teamed up with the Atlanta Falcons football franchise to release a collaborative collection that honors the 30th anniversary of the group’s sophomore album, ATLiens.

Released on August 27, 1996, the LP took the funk, soul and eclectic lyricism fans loved from Big Boi and André 3000’s 1994 debut effort, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, and completely launched it into space. The result was unlike anything heard before or in the 30 years since, with songs like “Two Dope Boyz (In a Cadillac),” “Jazzy Belle,” the title track and chart-topper “Elevators (Me & You)” helping the album reach number one on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and eventually achieve Double Platinum certification.
The collection centers in on utilizing the classic ATLiens comic book-inspired album cover (seen above), available as a hoodie or a T-shirt. The rest of the set includes a varsity jacket, neon green hoodie, headwear, football helmet and standout jersey that each incorporates a logo design that merges the album lettering with the Falcons’ signature winged “A” motif. The lookbook pushes the theme further with spaceship graphics and a Mercedes-Benz Stadium mockup in the foreground that calls back to both sides of the collaboration.
Shop the OutKast x Atlanta Falcons 30th Anniversary ATLiens Collection starting today (October 21) by way of the official OutKast online store, in addition to Fanatics, New Era for the caps, Riddell for the helmet and Mitchell & Ness. Locals will also be able to head over to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to grab up gear this Sunday (October 25) as the Atlanta Falcons go up against the San Francisco 49ers.
