Mobile
Your voice arrives
Dismembered memory
Past telecommunications
Long gone
Echoes
Of words once said
In love in discontent
Relaying through a head else wise
Silent
Silence
Provides solace
Our quiet times a balm
From hurtful cynical chatter
Not mean’t
I talk
An empty void
Your presence used to fill
With your words again and again
Echoes
I shout
Leave me alone
Remove spectral sayings
Let these sad hauntings stop at once
Desist
Stop it
I cry at night
Rocking myself to sleep
Rest from verbal ectoplasm

In purple waters
Purple fishes swim
so heavily camoflaged
like me in a hat
pulled down over my eyes

She is discovered
