Two men have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Givanni Andrew Joseph, of Ciceron, Castries, just over a month ago.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has identified the murder accused as 23-year-old Sanjay Papius of La Clery, Castries, and 25-year-old Mayim King of Bisee, Castries.
Both men were also charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
Joseph, also known as “Zuzu”, was shot on the night of February 21, at the Gulf in Ciceron. A post-mortem examination conducted on February 27 determined that he died as a result of injuries sustained from a gunshot wound to the chest.
