The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has made a breakthrough in the investigation into the shooting death of 23-year-old Jabez Edward in Marc, Bexon, earlier this month. Edward sustained multiple gunshot wounds during the incident and was later pronounced dead at the OKEU Hospital.
Police have now charged 27-year-old Brent Frederick, of Wilton’s Yard, Castries, with murder.
Frederick appeared before a magistrate on Wednesday, November 26, and was denied bail. He has been remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility and is due to reappear in court on March 3.
