By Zoila Palma: The UDP is preparing its candidates for the 2027 municipal elections.
During Tuesday’s press conference, UDP Chair Sheena Pitts said that the party will strike when the “iron is hot.”
Pitts said that names are being floated around and the announcement will be made when they are ready to do so strategically in each municipality.
With relation to Mayor Bernard Wagner backing Eliude Miller, Pitts said that it does not matter who the PUP’s candidate is because the UDP is “coming for their neck.”
